I started playing the original Trackmania by coincidence, It happened to be launched in a vg store, I liked it so much I bought it.
Then after a while I bought Trackmania Sunrise, and later found out that anyone hardly knows this game. For some reason both games were quite underrated and missed by the general public.
Anyways, to boost up sales and popularity of their quality product, the guys at Nadeo, pulled a nice trick. They released Trackmania Nations, a FREE version of Trackmania, with multiplayer, netplay etc.
Check it out here: http://www.trackmanianations.com/
Anyway, what do you think unknown developers can make to get more to the public, if they have a quality underrated game?
I think the Trackmania Nations idea is a REALLY good one. Know of any other nice tricks?
